Depart for Mt. Scopus observatory for an overview of the old and new city. Drive to Mt. Zion to visit tomb of King David and Hall of Last Supper. Enter Zion gate to Jewish quarter, via Cardo and visit 4 Separdi synagogues from the 16th Century. Continue to excavated Herodian Mansions - during the 2nd Temple period. Proceed to the Temple Mt* - the site of the Temple with an overview of the Dome of the Rock and El Aksa Mosque (entry not permited - according to Palestinian Authority Regulations). Descend to the Southern Wall excavations known as the entrance to the Temple. Returns to hotels.
